Procratination

What you will get: Clarity on how to be a Professional Procrastinator

“I’ll do it tomorrow.”

Except that you and I know, tomorrow never comes.

And before you know it, it’s too late.

You see…

Perhaps the biggest killer of achieving your ambitions and dreams is PROCRASTINATION.

And what’s more…

Far from being a lazy activity that creeps upon you, Procrastination is a pastime that many people practice for years and years.

Yes, some people are Professional Procrastinators!

So, what’s the magic formula to becoming a master of getting nothing done?

Simply follow these simple steps…

Be aware of what you want to do that is important.
Find other stuff to do.
Kid yourself 2. is needed.
Feel stress/guilt for not doing 1.
Repeat for life ☺

Easy, isn’t it?

If you follow the above steps, sure you can have lots of ideas. Sure you can have lots of dreams. Sure you can wish for more freedom and happiness. Sure you can complain daily about your current lifestyle.

And guaranteed absolutely NOTHING will change.

Unless, of course, you break your habit of procrastination.

And how do you do that?

Well the following activity will help to get you started.

I call it, “What’s Stopping Me?”

1 – Identify your “typical” procrastination activities (the skillful ways you avoid doing what really matters).

2 – Find out what they are REALLY about?
(habits? laziness?, fear of failure?, fear of success?, fear of being different?, limiting self-beliefs telling you you’re not good enough or capable?)

3 – Write down will you do differently next time the procrastination activities show up…

4 – Identify what could stop you from abolishing out your old procrastination habits?

5 – Write down that you will do to make sure it doesn’t stop you…

Now isn’t that a healthier set of steps to follow that the 5 steps to procrastination?

I’m off to focus and act on what really matters, and make sure I don’t get distracted my pointless, time-wasting tasks.

How about you?

To your success.
